Suspension Policy
At Need Order, professionalism and trust are the foundation of our platform. To protect our clients, our projects, and our reputation, we maintain clear guidelines for suspending or removing experts who fail to meet our standards. This policy ensures that only reliable and committed professionals remain part of our network.
Reasons for Suspension
Freelancers may be suspended if they:
- Deliver consistently poor quality work or fail to meet project requirements.
- Misrepresent their skills, portfolio, or professional background.
- Violate communication standards, including failure to attend scheduled Zoom meetings.
- Display unprofessional behavior, such as missed deadlines, unreliability, or dishonesty.
- Breach confidentiality, misuse client information, or act against Need Order’s interests.
Process of Suspension
- Evaluation – Concerns are reviewed by our Hiring Manager and project managers.
- Notice – The freelancer is informed about the issue and given an opportunity to clarify.
- Decision – Based on evidence, Need Order may suspend or remove the expert from the platform.
- Record – Suspension decisions are documented and may affect the freelancer’s classification in our Badge System.
Public Communication
In serious cases where a freelancer’s actions damage trust or harm clients, Need Order may publish an official update in our Updates section. This is done to maintain transparency and protect our community from further risks.
Duration and Reinstatement
Suspensions may be temporary or permanent, depending on the severity of the issue. In certain cases, experts may request reinstatement by demonstrating improvements in their skills, professionalism, or communication.
Appeals
At Need Order, we believe in fairness. Suspended freelancers who wish to return may submit a formal appeal request. Appeals must include:
- A written explanation of the issue and what has changed since the suspension.
- Evidence of improved skills, communication, or professional conduct.
- A commitment to adhere to Need Order’s standards going forward.
Appeals are reviewed by our Hiring Manager and leadership team. If accepted, the freelancer may be reinstated and reclassified within the Badge System.
Privacy and Confidentiality
All suspension and appeal processes are handled in line with our Privacy Policy. We respect the confidentiality of both our clients and our freelancers, and any information shared during evaluations or appeals is kept secure. Public updates, if required, are published only to maintain transparency and protect the wider community.
Our Commitment
Suspension is a serious measure, but it is always applied with fairness and transparency. Our priority is to protect clients while offering professionals the opportunity to learn, improve, and grow with us.
